主講人介紹:

Prof. Aatto Laaksonen is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Material & Environmental Chemistry in Stockholm University. He obtained his Master of Science in Mathematics and PhD in Theoretical Chemistry. He obtained his post doctor at Daresbury Lab. in UK (82), IBM Res. Lab. in USA (83-84,85). He also had sabbatical stay at Dalhousie University in Canada (93-94). Prof. Aatto’s current research interest covers multi-scale modeling from quantum mechanics to mesoscale and research between chemical engineering, biology, materials science and atmospheric processes. He is a project manager, Berzelii center EXSELENT (2007-2016) for porous materials and a project leader in a consortium for ionic liquids as lubricants (2014-2018). He is also a visiting professor of Japan (JAERI), Italy(UNICA) and Singapore (NTU).
